Skip all of this nonsense and go straight to the PROJECT DIARY >> Blogging about the hobby is very motivational for me in that it makes me feel accountable to readers.  Once I start something, people are expecting me to finish it, and that often keeps me going during the less novel stages. The Project Diary is essentially a thread of posts where I think out loud as I slave my way along.  It tends to go on for pages and pages now, and you'll find that it goes into detail about my Impetus armies, 28mm terrain-making, and many smaller side projects.  Some of the posts share my project planning, and in many cases, you can follow the mistakes I've made and and spot where I've changed my mind altered my goals as I've gone along.
