My Newest Project

Jacob Francis Tilley (aka "Jake")

Born on Canada Day (July 1st) so he'll likely be a patriot. He and Mom are very healthy and happy, and big brother and I are thrilled. Incidentally, the chair he is sitting in shall fit perfectly on my painting table ;)

Thanks for reading,
JET

Nice job on the flesh (did you use a wash?); they sure do sculpt in heroic proportions these days though, don't they? 28mm my behind.

Congratulations! The chair will fit on the painting table? You actually expect to get any painting done for the next few years! :)

All the best

Thank you all for your kind words. Jake's ten-year old brother didn't become my son until he was four years old, so the whole baby thing is new to me. I'm lucky enough to work in a job where I'll get almost a year's parental leave, so with both my wife and me home, I still expect to get some projects done. Not to the same level of intensity as before, but there are some things lying half done that will be receiving attention within the next week.

Thanks again,
JET

Congrats - there is nothing better than having a baby in the house. As for your time for modeling projects, I think young master Jacob will dictate that.

Well done!

On the geeking note, you may have noticed that I haven't updated my blog since Edmund was born....

As the father of a two year old, I give you hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel!
The little fella has hit the motherlode in being born on the national holiday (never having to work or go to school is a real boon)
